Well, I have read 29 books already this year (is it any wonder it took me 3 months to do the edits on my last manuscript?). You can check some of them out on my 'books read' page, but I just had to tell everyone abut 'A Taste Of Evil'. A stunning crime by Christina Carlisle: http://www.christinacarlisle.com/
It opened with the murdered woman telling you about her own death and the tension rachettes up a knotch every chapter thereafter until you're on the edge of your seat, heart racing, trying desperately to guess who dunnit. The idea of finding out what people really thought of you from a fly-on-the-wall viewpoint was intriguing. There were so many suspects in the intricate web of secrets and human emotions, each with a bitter and a sweet side.
This book had brilliant characters, great police procedural
details and was an all around rivotting read.
